Day 1: ARRIVE COCHIN

You will be welcomed by our representative upon your arrival in Cochin and transfer you to hotel. Today you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield bike & get some important instructions for biking in Kerala & Tamilnadu. Overnight stay in Cochin.

DAY 2: COCHIN – Cheruthuruthy (120 Km / 2-3 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast we start our riding along with Beach. We take ferry to cross sea & ride along with fishermen villages & see fishermen busy in catching fishes. Today we have small riding so that you become more comfortable on busy road of South India. Arrive at the resort & relax.

DAY 3: Cheruthuruthy - Ooty (200 Km / 7-8 hrs Ride)

After breakfast ride to Ooty, a well known hill station of Tamilnadu & called as “Queen of hill stations". Arrive in Ooty and check into the hotel. Day at leisure activity. Overnight stay in Ooty.

DAY 4: OOTY LOCAL TOUR

After breakfast enjoy full day sightseeing in & around Ooty.

Visit Botanical garden : This garden was laid out in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale and is spread over 55 acres. Lush green well maintained lawns, rare tree species (like the cork tree which is probably the only such tree in India, the paper bark tree and the monkey puzzle tree - monkeys cannot climb this tree)

Ooty Lake : Ooty Lake stretches, in an irregular 'L' shape, for about two kilometres in length and varrying distances in width. At the far end is the Boat House where all kinds of boats are available for hire from eight in the morning to six in the evening.

Rose garden : Located less than a km from Charring Cross, the rose garden is laid on 10 acres of land. The garden has a collection of more than 1000 varieties of roses

Pykara Falls : 19 km from Ooty. The river has a dam and power plant. There is breathtaking scenery. The falls is about 6 km from the bridge on the main road. Overnight stay in Ooty.

DAY 5: Ooty - Valparai (230 Km / 6-7 hrs Ride)

After breakfast ride to Valparai. Valparai - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in Tamilnadu. Valparai was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later in the afternoon visit Tea gardens & explore Valparai town. Overnight stay in Valparai.

Day 6: Valparai Local tour

After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing around Munnar.

Solaiyar Dam (13 km) Situated at a height of 1100 Mts , Dam is famous for its highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-swiss live stock project. Over 100 varietes of high yielding cattle are reared here. Tea Gardens Estate- Valparai surroundings offers an excellent view of the tea plantations in Valparai. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.

DAY 7: Valparai – Kodaikanal (200 Km / 4-5 hrs Ride)

After breakfast we ride towards Kodaikanal on most scenic route of South India. Kodaikanal is a hill town in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It’s set in an area of granite cliffs, forested valleys, lakes, waterfalls and grassy hills. At 2,000 meters above sea level, the town centers around man-made, star-shaped Kodaikanal Lake, bordered by evergreen forest.

DAY 8: Kodaikanal local tour

Today we have option for the short ride & visit small hill town of Kodaikanal or you can choose to relax in the hotel. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.

DAY 9: Kodaikanal – Munnar (180 Km / 4-5 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast ride to Munnar. Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Unending expanse of tea plantations - pristine valleys and mountains- exotic species of flora and fauna. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Later in the afternoon visit Tea gardens & explore Munnar town. Overnight stay in Munnar.

DAY 10: MUNNAR Local Tour

After breakfast leave for full day sightseeing around Munnar.

Mattupetty (13 km) Situated at a height of 1700 Mts , Mattupetty is famous for its highly specialised dairy farm, the Indo-swiss live stock project. Over 100 varietes of high yielding cattle are reared here.

Pothamedu (6 km) Pothamedu offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The rolling hills, the lush mountain and the breathtaking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.

DAY 11: : Munnar – Thekkady (110 Km / 3-4 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast we ride towards Thekkady, a famous place for Elephant ride where you enjoy shower on the elephant back.

Thekkady is the national park famous for it’s elephant herds & other wildlife animals. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

DAY 12: Thekkady – Kumarakom (130 Km / 4 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast start riding towards to Kumarakom. It is a famous town for Backwaters & beautiful Houseboat. A perfect destination for the relaxing after coming to hot weather. On arrival check into the hotel & have your own relaxing time after riding in mountains in Kerala & Tamilnadu. Overnight stay in Kumarakom.

DAY 13: Kumarakoam – Alleppey (40 Km/ 1 Hr Ride)

After breakfast morning at leisure or enjoy swimming pool. Later around 12:00 PM we take Houseboat for the experience of backwater in Alleppey. We have overnight stay in Houseboat to experience something local & also taste local food on Houseboat. Overnight stay in Houseboat.

DAY 14: Alleppey – Marari Beach (35 Km/ 1 Hr Ride)

After breakfast we ride to Marari beach for our beach destination for relaxing for 2 days after the riding in mountains & we experience hot weather. Marari is a small village for relaxing on the beach & beach is not so crowded & perfect gateway to relax. Overnight stay in Marari.

DAY 15: Marari Beach – Cochin Airport (80 Km/ 2 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast checkout from the resort & we ride towards Cochin. Our memorable Motorcycle tour to South India concludes here. Later you will be transferred to Cochin Airport to catch your flight for Home.

Weather/Temperature

Our most Himalayan tours start and end in New Delhi where the temperature can go up to 38-42°C in July/August & September with humidity.

Temperature also varies in Himalayas & low altitude can get up to 30°C. However, they can fall below freezing at high altitudes in the mornings and during the nights.

Health, Fitness & Hygiene

Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in our tours.

IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes.

Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour specially High Himalayas over average riding on 4000 meters altitude.

Food & beverages
When travelling through India it is advised to carry your own drinking water that has been obtained from a reliable source (RO/UV water filter) or always drink branded mineral/packaged water.

Water for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should first be boiled or otherwise always use packed water.

Hygiene
Popular tourist restaurants and hotels will have clean facilities for you to use.

Most of the places we have communications in terms of internet (Wi-Fi), & calling facilities but still there are many places with no communications in high Himalayas in remote region but no worries talk to us we have good stories to tell you about riding, India & share yours with us.

Visas & Documents

When travelling to India you will need the following documents:

Travelers should apply for a tourist e-visa before they visit India. Processing time is generally between 36-48 hours, you can apply for an e-Visa here. These are single/multiple entry visa’s that are valid for a 30/60-day stay.
