DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI

On arrival in Delhi, you will meet RBR representative at airport with warm welcome & he will assist you to the hotel for smooth check in. Standard check in time is 12:00 Pm & early check in is subject to availability. After a long journey you can have hot shower & rest. If you have morning flight then you can visit historical monuments of Old Delhi. We give some details about monuments below.

Humayun’s Tomb-is the one of the finest example of Mughal architecture in India. It was built in 1565 after the death of Humayun. Here garden is so beautiful & pathway. You will see many graves of the Mughal rulers here.

Red Fort-was the royal residence for Mughal Emperors for more than 200 years. It has many palaces built by red stones & marble. Red fort walls built in 1638 by red stones are 33 meter high to keep out invaders.

After all these world’s famous sightseeing come back to the hotel & overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 2: DELHI – Dharamsala & ride to Manali (BY Flight Then Riding of 6-7 Hrs)(240 Km / 6-7 Hrs ride)

Today you have to get up early for the flight of Dharamsala. Flight to Dharamsala is just 1 hour & 20 minutes. Arrive at Dharamsala airport & transfer to hotel where you will be introduced to our legendary Royal Enfield motorcycle. You will be given necessary information regarding Royal Enfield & riding in mountains in India then we continue to Manali. Today it is going too hard ride because of hectic schedule as you had to get up early for the flight then you have to ride to Manali. As a good team we will do it. Manali situated near the end of the valley on the national highway to Leh. The landscape here is spectacular & lot of tourist come to Manali to enjoy great time with family & friends. Arrive at Manali & check into the hotel & have some rest. Overnight stay in Manali.

DAY 3: MANALI Max. Altitude: 1900 M

After breakfast we have option for a short ride or you can have relaxed day in the hotel or explore Manali town with us. We have lunch in the town & walk to market of Manali.

DAY 4: MANALI - JISPA Altitude: 3200 M (145 kms / about 5 hrs ride

After breakfast we ride to Jispa (3200 M) over Rohtang La pass (3980 m). Jispa is a very beautiful village situated on the bank of Bhaga River & the surrounding peaks covered with mist and clouds creating an awesome view. On arrival in Jispa, check into the hotel and relax. Later explore the area by walk. Evening we have party time with bonfire in the hotel. Overnight in Hotel at Jispa.

DAY 5: JISPA – Tso Kar Lake Altitude: 4530 M (220 Kms /about 6-7 hrs ride)

After breakfast we will start our riding & today in our Himalayan adventure, we will experience some water crossing & water stream on the road. On the way to Tso Kar Lake, we will cross our second pass at Baralacha Pass at 4850 M. Later we will stop for Tea break at Bharatpur. After tea break you will see great Trans-Himalayan spectacular view at Sarchu where mesmerizing view always attracts you to click many photos of the Himalaya. It’s time to have fun on many hair pins at Ghata Loops that is total 21 in numbers & after this Nakeela Pass comes at 4769 M. We continue our ride to more plains & hit the new paved road & take off-road up to Tso Kar Lake. Overnight stay at Camp at 4530 M altitude.

DAY 6: Tso Kar Lake – LEH Altitude: 3500 M (170 km / about 4 hrs ride)

After breakfast at Tso Kar Lake, we start riding towards Leh city. On this day you will enjoy off-road riding few km to reach main road towards Leh. We will stop at Rumtse for a Tea/Chai break. Don’t forget to take pictures on Tanglang La pass (World’s 2nd Highest pass at 5328 M). After crossing this pass we will be riding down towards Leh & Enroute there are some spectacular villages. Today we reach Leh city & you can have shower today after spending night in camp. On arrival in Leh & check-into the hotel & relax. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.

DAY 7: EXPLORE INDUS VALLEY (Local Sightseeing around Leh) or free day

After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the Indus valley, visiting Shey Palace- a ruined Castle, after that visit the 14th century Thikse monastery, it is an outstanding specimen of Ladakhi architecture. It is a glorious Buddhist monastery & a marvelous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Later visit the Hemis monastery- the richest monastery in Ladakh. In the last, visit the Royal Stok Palace & museum (residence of the royal family of Ladakh). Later back to hotel for overnight.

DAY 8: LEH - KHARDUNGLA PASS – Nubra Valley (140 KM/ 5-6 HRS RIDE) Altitude: 3100 M

After breakfast we ride about 39 Km to Khardungla La Pass (The world’s Highest Motorable Road at 5360 m), where we take a stop for Photography because the view from the top is spectacular & take a cup of coffee at World’s Highest point. Later ride to Nubra Valley that is another 100 Km from Khardungla pass. Stay in Nubra Valley.

DAY 9: Nubra Valley to Leh via Wari La pass (190 Km/7-8 Hrs Ride) Alt. 3500 M.

After breakfast, ride to back to 40 km same way as yesterday Then we take diversion for the Wari La pass (5247 M). This is a new route to Leh via Wari La pass & meets at Sakti village & worth to ride. On arrival at Leh, check into the hotel & have some rest. We have dinner in local restaurant in Leh. Overnight at Leh.

DAY 10: LEH – Tso moriri Lake (Via Mahe Bridge) (230 KM/ 6-7 Hrs Ride) Max. Altitude: 4500 M

After breakfast, ride to Tso Moriri Lake. Tso Moriri Lake is a high altitude Lake in Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4500 m above sea level. Enroute we will stop for tea & Lunch break & enjoy spectacular view of Himalaya. Most of the ride is along the Indus River that is symbol of Indus civilization in East World. Check into the camp & relax. Overnight in Tso Moriri Lake.

DAY 11: Tso moriri Lake – Sarchu (220 Km/ 6 Hrs Ride) Max. Altitude: 4300 M

After breakfast ride for Sarchu. Enroute we have spectacular view of the Tso Kar Lake. After riding many kilometers off-road, we will catch up the main road (Manali-Leh highway). This time we ride again for Gata Loops, actually there are 21 slopes when we are coming to Sarchu from Tso Moriri Lake. Enroute we have break on a picturesque sight & take some photos of the landscape. On arrival in Sarchu, check into the camp. Overnight stay in Sarchu.

DAY 12: SARCHU - MANALI (Enroute visit Rohtang Pass) (210 Km/ 6 Hrs Ride) Max. Altitude: 1900 M

After breakfast we ride our legendary Royal Enfield towards Manali. We have 1 more opportunity to cross muddy road at Rohtang pass & we pass same villages & towns which we have crossed on the way to Jispa on day 4. We stop for lunch at Keylong/Koksar check post & later continue our ride to Manali. Arrive at Manali & check into the hotel. In the evening we all go to Mall road to enjoy our Dinner & beers, overnight stay in Manali.

DAY 13: MANALI – Narkanda via jalori pass (200 Km/ 6 Hrs Ride) Altitude: 2760 M

After breakfast we ride to Narkanda via Jalori Pass (3120 M) & we have scenic mountain villages along with most spectacular view of lower Himalayan range. We will have few stops for tea/chai & photography where you can have some chat with the local people. Today we have mixed road conditions & some places it is worst & adventurous as well. We arrive at Narkanda & check into the hotel where we have farewell party along with lots of beer & lots of chat regarding tour to Himalayas. Overnight stay in Narkanda.

DAY 14: Narkanda – Kalka - DELHI (Ride & then A/c Train) (160 Km/ 4 hrs ride

After breakfast we ride for the Kalka via Kufri & Chail both are scenic hill stations in lower Himalayan range. Today we finish our ride close to Kalka with lots of memory on motorcycle. Arrive at Kalka railway station from where you will catch train up to Delhi. We will stop our motorcycle few km before railway station so that you can fresh up & repack your luggage for onward journey. We have our evening train & this train takes 4 hrs to reach in Delhi. Our driver will pick up you from New Delhi railway station & will take you to the hotel for overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 15: Departure

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. You have option to explore Delhi if you have late flight to home. Visiting other monuments or visit old market in old Delhi is good idea. Later transferred to New Delhi International airport for your flight to home.

Note:Note: We have standard check out time is 2:00 Pm & if you have late flight to home then we can use lockers in the hotel for our luggage & we can explore Delhi.

Weather/Temperature

Our most Himalayan tours start and end in New Delhi where the temperature can go up to 38-42°C in July/August & September with humidity.

Temperature also varies in Himalayas & low altitude can get up to 30°C. However, they can fall below freezing at high altitudes in the mornings and during the nights.

Health, Fitness & Hygiene

Health
Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in our tours.

IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes.

Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour specially High Himalayas over average riding on 4000 meters altitude.

Food & beverages
When travelling through India it is advised to carry your own drinking water that has been obtained from a reliable source (RO/UV water filter) or always drink branded mineral/packaged water.

Water for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should first be boiled or otherwise always use packed water.

Hygiene
Popular tourist restaurants and hotels will have clean facilities for you to use.

Communication

Most of the places we have communications in terms of internet (Wi-Fi), & calling facilities but still there are many places with no communications in high Himalayas in remote region but no worries talk to us we have good stories to tell you about riding, India & share yours with us.

Visas & Documents

When travelling to India you will need the following documents:

Indian Tourist Visa
Travelers should apply for a tourist e-visa before they visit India. Processing time is generally between 36-48 hours, you can apply for an e-Visa here. These are single/multiple entry visa’s that are valid for a 30/60-day stay.
