DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI International Airport (Code-DEL)

On arrival in Delhi, you will meet RBR representative at airport with warm welcome & he will assist you to the hotel for smooth check in. after long journey have shower & rest. If you have morning flight then you can visit historical monuments of Old Delhi. We give some details about monuments below.

Qutab Minar-is a 73 meter high tower of victory which was built in 1193 by King Qutab ud-din Aibak after the defeat of Hindu Kingdom. It is believed that it was built with material obtained from demolishing 27 Hindu temples

Humayun’s Tomb-is the one of the finest example of Mughal architecture in India. It was built in 1565 after the death of Humayun. Here garden is so beautiful & pathway. You will see many graves of the Mughal rulers.

Red Fort-was the royal residence for Mughal Emperors for more than 200 years. It has many palaces built by red stones & marble. Red fort walls were built in 1638 by red stones and 33 meter high to design to keep out invaders. After all these world’s famous sightseeing come back to the hotel & overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 2: DELHI – KALKA – SHIMLA (BY TRAIN & Toy Train) (375+92 Km / about 9 hrs JOURNEY)

Early morning you will be transferred to New Delhi railway station to catch morning train to Kalka. On arrival in Kalka, you will enjoy ride in small toy train for Shimla. Then you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield Motorcycle first time in Shimla. Shimla is a hill station in north India in Shivalik range of Himalayas. Shimla is located on an average elevation of 2200 M where weather remains very pleasant in summer that’s make it famous destination for summer time. Shimla had been summer capital of British Empire for few years. Shimla is known for its pleasant weather, scenic beauty of Himalayas, world heritage Kalka-Shimla railway line & much more. We enjoy our ride in world heritage Kalka-Shimla railway. On arrival check into the hotel & later we go to Mall road to enjoy dinner with amazing view of Shimla in night.

Day 03: Shimla – Chindi (100 Km/ 3-4 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 1850 M

After breakfast we ride to beautiful Chindi, located at 1850 meters from sea level. We ride amazing hill station of Naldhera & Mashobra valley with full of apple orchards & later we ride along with Satluj river for a while & enter in Chindi. On arrival check into the hotel & later visit village temple of Chindi Mata temple which is close to hotel & amazing example of wooden carvings. Overnight stay in Chindi.

Day 04: Chindi – Manali (190 Km/ 5-6 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 2100 M

After breakfast we ride towards Manali, Manali- is situated near the end of the valley on the National Highway leading to Leh. The landscape here is breath taking. One sees well-defined snowcapped peaks, the Beas river with its clear water meanders through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. It is an excellent place for a holiday, a favorite resort for trekkers to Lahaul, Spiti, Bara Bhangal (Kangra), and Zanskar ranges. From temples to antiquity, to picturesque sight-seeing spots and adventure activities, Manali is a popular resort for all seasons and for all travelers. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 05: Manali – Jispa (100 Km/ 3-4 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 3200 M

Morning after breakfast start ride to Jispa (3200 m). First we will cross 10 km long Atal tunnel below Rohtang pass at 3048 meters. After crossing tunnel we enter into Lahaul valley. Jispa is very beautiful village situated on the bank of Bhaga River & the surrounding peaks covered with mist and clouds creating an awesome view. On arrival in Jispa, check into the hotel and relax. Later explore the area by walk. Evening we have party time right on the bank of river. Overnight in Hotel at Jispa.

Day 06: Jispa – Padum Via Shinku La Pass @ 5091 (140 Km/ 4-5 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 3650 M

After breakfast we start riding towards Padum in Zanskar valley & en route we first cross our first pass called Shinku La pass at 5091 meters. Later we ride through spectacular villages & amazing mountain like Gonbo Rangjon & villages like Purne & others. We can get some water crossings also where we have opportunity to take photos & videos. We stop few places for photos & of course tea/coffee always with most amazing Himalaya. Padum is a small town on high altitude & kwon for its beauty in Himalaya with green vegetations. Overnight stay in Padum in camp/Guest House.

Day 07: Padum – Kargil (240 Km/ 6-7 Hrs Ride) Altitude-

After breakfast we start riding towards Kargil, a city close to border & situated on the bank of Suru river. En route visit many spectacular villages & we stop many places for short breaks for photos & tea/coffee to get refresh for the further ride in mighty Himalaya. The road is in better conditions & we can easily do this long distance on time. The route will be memorized for its beauty & most scenic beauty of the Himalaya. Kargil is at lower altitude so we will have great sleep after spending night at high altitude. Overnight stay in Kargil in hotel.

DAY 08: Kargil – Leh (220 kms / about 5 hrs ride) Altitude- 3500 M

After breakfast at Kargil, we start riding towards Leh. On this day you will enjoy very good road with amazing view. We will stop at few places for a Tea beak/photos. Don’t forget to take pictures on Fotu La pass (Highest point at Srinagar-Leh road) at 4108 Meters. After crossing this pass we will be riding down towards Leh & Enroute there are some villages along the road. Enroute enjoy the pretty village alongside of the Indus River. On arrival in Leh & check-into the hotel & relax. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.

DAY 09: Leh (Free Day) Altitude- 3500 M

Morning after breakfast, proceed for a half day optional excursion to the Indus valley, visiting Shey Palace- a ruined Castle, after that visit the 14th century Thikse monastery, it is an outstanding specimen of Ladakhi architecture. It is a glorious Buddhist monastery & a marvelous Buddha statue in the seated position is adorning the main prayer hall. Later visit the Hemis monastery- the richest monastery in Ladakh. In the last, visit the Royal Stok Palace & museum (residence of the royal family of Ladakh). Later back to hotel for overnight.

DAY 10: LEH – Hanle (250 km / about 6-7 hrs ride) Altitude- 4500 M

After breakfast, ride legendary Himalayan motorcycle to Hanle. Hanle is a high altitude village in Ladakh & Hanle is the gateway to Umling la pass. It is situated at a height of 4500 m above sea level. Enroute we will stop for tea & Lunch break & enjoy spectacular view of Himalaya. Most of the ride is on the Indus River that is symbol of Indus civilization in East World. On arrival in Hanle, check into the camp/Guest House & rest after long ride. Overnight in Hanle village.

DAY 11: Hanle to Umling La (Highest Motorable Road in the World) at 5798 Meters, back to Hanle (140 Km, Return ride) Altitude- 4500 M

Morning after breakfast today is the day to mark the history in your life to take 2 wheels on Highest Motorable Road in the World at 5798 meters at Umling La pass. Today our most of the route is off road but very decent off road as surface is equal & flat. We enjoy lifetime ride & photos over Umling La pass & return back to Hanle by off road. Our legendary Royal Enfield Himalayan will surprise you taking to the highest road in the World. Later we cheer up & enjoy party for riding over Umling La pass. Overnight stay in Hanle in guest house.

DAY 12: Hanle – Tso Moriri Lake (High Altitude lake) (150 KM/ 4-5 HRS RIDE) Altitude- 4595 M

After breakfast, ride to Tso Moriri Lake. Tsomoriri Lake is a high altitude Lake in Ladakh. It is situated at a height of 4595 m above sea level. Enroute we will stop for tea & Lunch break & enjoy spectacular view of Himalaya. Most of the ride is on the Indus River that is symbol of Indus civilization in East World. Before the Tso Moriri lake, we stop to a smaller lake & click some of the amazing pictures. On arrival in Tso Moriri, check into the camp & relax. Overnight in Karzok village near lake.

DAY 13: Tso Moriri Lake – Leh Via Tanglang La pass @ 5358 M (230 Km/6-7 Hrs Ride) Altitude- 3500 M

After breakfast Proceed for Leh Via Tso Kar Lake. Enroute have spectacular view of the Tso kar Lake. After riding almost 80 kilometers on link road, we will catch up the main road (Manali-Leh road). This time we cross Tanglang la pass at 5358 meters overlooking at more plain area with amazing view of the valley. Enroute we have break on a picturesque sight & take some photos of the landscape. On arrival in Leh, check into the hotel. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 14: Leh to Delhi (By Flight) (Most scenic flight over Himalayas, airport at 3500 Meters)

Morning transfer to Leh airport to board most fascinating flight to Delhi over the heights of the great Himalayas in Ladakh region of India. Arrive Delhi airport & transfer to hotel for the relax after most adventurous ride in the Himalayas. Check into the hotel & enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 15: Departure to Home

After breakfast you will be transferred to Delhi international airport terminal for your flight to home. Our most amazing & adventure tour finish with lots of memories.

Weather/Temperature

Our most Himalayan tours start and end in New Delhi where the temperature can go up to 38-42°C in July/August & September with humidity.

Temperature also varies in Himalayas & low altitude can get up to 30°C. However, they can fall below freezing at high altitudes in the mornings and during the nights.

Health, Fitness & Hygiene

Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in our tours.

IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes.

Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour specially High Himalayas over average riding on 4000 meters altitude.

Food & beverages
When travelling through India it is advised to carry your own drinking water that has been obtained from a reliable source (RO/UV water filter) or always drink branded mineral/packaged water.

Water for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should first be boiled or otherwise always use packed water.

Hygiene
Popular tourist restaurants and hotels will have clean facilities for you to use.

Communication

Most of the places we have communications in terms of internet (Wi-Fi), & calling facilities but still there are many places with no communications in high Himalayas in remote region but no worries talk to us we have good stories to tell you about riding, India & share yours with us.

When travelling to India you will need the following documents:
