DAY 1: ARRIVE DELHI

On arrival in Delhi, you will meet RBR representative at airport with garland welcome & he will assist you to the hotel for smooth check in. after long journeys have hot shower & rest. If you have morning flight then you can visit historical monuments of Old Delhi. We give some details about monuments below.

Qutab Minar-is a 73 meter high tower of victory which is built in 1193 by King Qutab ud-din Aibak after the defeat of Hindu Kingdom. It is believe that It was built with material obtained from demolishing 27 Hindu temples.

Humayun’s Tomb-is the one of the finest example of Mughal architecture in India.It was built in 1565 after the death of Humayun. Here garden is so beautiful & pathway. You will see many graves of the Mughal rulers.

Red Fort-was the royal residence for Mughal Emperors for more than 200 years. It has many palaces built by red stones & marble. Red fort walls built in 1638 by red stones are 33 meter high to design to keep out invaders.

After all these world’s famous sightseeing come back to the hotel & overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 2: DELHI- NALAGARH (300 Km / 6-7 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast you will leave Delhi by A/c vehicle for Nalagarh. Reach in Nalagarh, first time you will be introduced to our Royal Enfield Motorcycles. Get important instructions for the tour to Himachal Pradesh. Take a warm up ride in Nalagarh & around Nalagarh.

Nalagrh is the gateway to Himachal Pradesh in North India. We will stay at Nalagarh fort, now converted into luxury hotel from here you have spectacular view of the plains. Overnight stay in Nalagarh fort.

Day 3: NAHAN- SHIMLA (100 Km / 3-4 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast ride Royal Enfield for Shimla from Nalagarh. We will ride through amazing scenery & beautiful picturesque of Shimla. Shimla, was the Summer capital of India under British rule. Presently, it is the state capital of Himachal Pradesh. The place is also famous for its natural beauty, architectural buildings, wooden crafts and apples. Shimla abounds in natural bounty and looks picture perfect. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 4: SHIMLA LOCAL

Full day sightseeing tour of various view points around Shimla like Mashobra, naldehra, Kufri, Shilon Bagh & Chail Including Golf course at Naldehra. Nestled between the beautiful lofty ranges of the Himalayas, lies the Naldehra hill station. The Naldehra hill resort near Shimla is no less than a picture perfect destination. The blue skies, lush green forests and an occasional rainbow thrown in makes the place look like it has been painted on a canvas. The golf course is one of the most gorgeous stretches of land in Naldehra. Overnight stay in Shimla.

Day 5: SHIMLA- CHINDI (1850 m) (115 Km / 3-4 Hrs Ride)

Morning after breakfast, start ride to Chindi. Enroute enjoy the amazing View of the Himalaya with lush greenery & small Villages. Enjoy the Tea break at the bank of Beas River. Later ride continue to Chindi. On arrival in Chindi, check into the hotel & relax. Later in the evening take a short walk to the village & meet the local people. Also visit the Temples in Village. Later back to Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: CHINDI - MANALI (210 Km / 5-6 Hrs Ride)

Morning after breakfast, ride to Manali. Manali is located near the northern end of Kullu Valley & on the banks of River Beas. Manali – an important hill station & breathtaking natural beauty is the hallmark of this valley. Enroute enjoy the amazing view of the beautiful villages situated among the green Hills On arrival in Manali, check into the hotel & relax. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 7: MANALI LOCAL TOUR

Rohtang pass (3979 m) is 51kms. from Manali on highway to Keylong/Leh. It offers a panorama and spectacular mountain view. The pass is open from June to October each year although trekkers can cross it earlier. It is a gateway to Lahaul Spiti, Pangi and Leh valley just as Zojila pass is a gatway to Ladakh. There are a beautiful sight of glaciers, peaks and Chandra river flows down in the Lahaul valley. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 8: MANALI - MCLOEDUGUNJ (230 Km / About 6-7 hrs Ride)

After breakfast we start our Himalayan foothills ride towards Dharamsala, home of the His Highness Dalai Lama. Dharamsala is situated on the Dhauladhar Range of mountains & Dharamsala is well known as Little Lhasa because this place is the capital of Tibetan Government in exile.

Day 9: MCLOEDUGUNJ LOCAL TOUR

After breakfast you can explore this town by walking or you can visit nearby places on motorbike. We can make a day excursion to nearby places & later come back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mcloed Ganj.

Day 10: MCLOEDGUNJ- DALHOUSIE (120 Km / 3-4 Hrs Ride)

Dalhousie (2036 m) is a hill station full of colonial charm that holds lingering echoes of the Raj. Spread out over the five hills (Kathlog, Potreys, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun) the town is named after the 19th century British Governor General Lord Dalhousie. Kalatop and Khajiar are best explored if you take a three hrs. ride from Dalhousie to Kalatop, Khajjiar and back Dalhousie. Overnight stay in Dalhousie.

Day 11: DALHOUSIE LOCAL TOUR

23 kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 kms from Kalatop is the mini Switzerland of India at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, "Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". Khajjiar is often reffered to as "Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh". The lush green meadows are surrounded by thick pine and cedar forests. Grazing herds of sheep, goats and other milch cattle present a prefect pastoral scenery. There is a small lake in the center of the saucer shaped meadow which has in it a floating island. Much of the lake has degenerated into slush because of heavy silting during rains. Still the landscape of Khajjiar is picturesque and a photographer’s delight.

Day 12: DALHOUSIE- AMRITSAR (190 Km / 4-5 Hrs Ride)

After breakfast we ride towards Amritsar, a important place for Sikh pilgrims. Its name derives from the name of the pool around the Golden Temple and means "holy pool of nectar”. It is the spiritual and cultural center of the Sikh religion. The beautiful and unique Golden Temple was initiated by Guru Ramdaas Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, and completed in 1601 by his successor Guru Arjun Dev Ji. On arrival check into the hotel & relax. Afternoon drive about 30 Km to Wagha Border (Indo-Pak Border) & enjoy flag ceremony. Return back to hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

Day 13: AMRITSAR - DELHI (450 Km / 6 Hrs train journey)

After breakfast you can spend some more time in Golden temple or you can explore Amritsar market or we can visit important tourist places nearby on our motorbike. Later you will be transferred to Amritsar railway station to catch train for Delhi. Our driver will pick up you from Delhi railway station & will transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 14: Departure for Home Town

After breakfast you will be transferred to New Delhi International airport for your flight to Home. If you have evening or night flight then you can go for shopping or for sightseeing in Old Delhi and New Delhi. Later you will be transferred to Aiport.

Weather/Temperature

Our most Himalayan tours start and end in New Delhi where the temperature can go up to 38-42°C in July/August & September with humidity.

Temperature also varies in Himalayas & low altitude can get up to 30°C. However, they can fall below freezing at high altitudes in the mornings and during the nights.

Health, Fitness & Hygiene

Please keep in mind that you need to be reasonably fit to participate in our tours.

IMPORTANT: Applicants are advised against participating in any Himalayan tours if they suffer from severe asthma, muscular disorders, respiratory or heart disorders, or any medical precondition which might be detrimental to the health of the participant on a tour which involves spending nights in high altitudes.

Please consult a doctor before booking a Himalayan tour specially High Himalayas over average riding on 4000 meters altitude.

Food & beverages
When travelling through India it is advised to carry your own drinking water that has been obtained from a reliable source (RO/UV water filter) or always drink branded mineral/packaged water.

Water for drinking, brushing teeth or making ice should first be boiled or otherwise always use packed water.

Hygiene
Popular tourist restaurants and hotels will have clean facilities for you to use.

Most of the places we have communications in terms of internet (Wi-Fi), & calling facilities but still there are many places with no communications in high Himalayas in remote region but no worries talk to us we have good stories to tell you about riding, India & share yours with us.

When travelling to India you will need the following documents:
